NAVIGATE reaches out to a broad and inclusive spectrum of stakeholders. Such involvement occurs in the framework of regular workshops with representatives from climate policy, civil society organizations and business, and experts in the field of climate mitigation research.
The aim of the dialogue is twofold:
- to create an opportunity for the NAVIGATE project to take into account stakeholder feedback on the design, direction and emphasis of the project’s activities, and
- to enable the stakeholders to co-design policy-relevant scenarios, visualization tools, and documentation material. Insights will feed back into the multiple streams of work within NAVIGATE to develop the next generation of IAMs.
